The people in charge of the Olympics have talked about their plans for how they will use AI in sports. A lot of different people, companies, and fields are trying to adapt and change with artificial intelligence.

The International Olympic Committee (IOC) explained how they plan to use AI. One way they may do this is by finding talented athletes, making games more fair through better scoring, and customizing training programs for each athlete.

The President of the IOC, Thomas Bach, said, “Today we are taking another step to make sure that the Olympic Games are unique and that sports are important.” We need to lead change in order to do this. “We are determined to use the huge potential of AI in a responsible way,” he said.

As part of their plan, they will also use technology to protect athletes from being harassed online and to help reporters make the Olympics better for people watching at home.

Some people don’t like that the Paris Games’ local leaders want to use artificial intelligence. The games are set to happen in a few months. One thing they plan to do with this is to point out possible security risks. A lot of people are against this because they think it might invade their privacy, even if they aren’t using smart face recognition.

When it comes to making sure Paris is safe, the French government and police have shown that they are very skilled in a lot of different ways. “Therefore, we all trust the French government,” Bach said.

Many people have said that it will take some time to get good at these tools, but like anything else, they will be something extra that everyone can use during the games to make the experience better.
