US President Joe Biden made another horrendous gaffe about the Holocaust during his visit in Israel on Wednesday.

According to Biden, it’s important to “bear witness” to the “honor of the Holocaust.”

Prior to his arrival in Israel Biden announced his plans to visit the “hallowed ground” of the Yad Vashem Holocaust memorial in Jerusalem later in the day.

“I will once more return to the hallowed ground of Yad Vashem to honor the 6 million Jewish lives that were stolen in a genocide and continue which we must do every, every day continue to bear witness, to keep alive the truth and honor of the Holocaust,” the president said, before he corrected himself and said “horror of the Holocaust.”

Biden then went on to say, “honor those we lost so that we never, ever forget that lesson and to continue our shared, unending work to fight the poison of anti-Semitism wherever it raises its ugly head.”

After that, the president signed a visitors’ book and wrote “it is a great honor to be back to my emotional home,” Biden wrote, according to the Times of Israel report.

“We must never, ever forget because hatred is never defeated; it only hides. We must teach every succeeding generation that it can happen again unless we remember. That is what I teach my children and grandchildren. Never forget.” Biden added.

Following Biden’s controversial remark, he was slammed after “embarrassing” the US during his tour in the Middle East region.

Conservative pundit Benny Johnson criticized the president and claimed that “Biden is so lost,” referring to the president’s statement asking “what am I doing now?”

“The president sparked public mockery with people saying that Biden “is an embarrassment to the whole country. It’s sad that the Democratic Party does not feel any sort of remorse for using this old man, who has some sort of dementia going on, for their own political agenda,” Trending Politics wrote.

According to the reports, the president’s Saudi Arabia trip will strengthen the relations between the two Middle Eastern countries. He is also expected to build upon the Abraham Accords, a joint statement that was signed by Trump in 2020.

“It’s changed the security situation in the Middle East. Our job is to go deeper with the countries that have signed up and to go wider if we can.” A senior U.S. official said.
