Virgin Atlantic flight 141 took off from London Heathrow (LHR). Still, due to the passenger’s disruption, the plane had to make an emergency landing before arriving at its intended destination of Los Angeles International Airport (LAX). A spokesperson provided this information for Virgin Atlantic to Fox News Digital.

The plane made an emergency landing at Salt Lake City International Airport (SLC), where, according to a representative for the airport, the disruptive passenger was taken into custody.

There is no available information on the specifics of the disturbance.

According to a spokeswoman for Virgin Atlantic who talked to Fox News Digital, the airline decided to reroute the aircraft to safeguard the customers’ safety.

According to a spokeswoman who talked to Fox News Digital, “the aircraft diverted to Salt Lake City to be met by police authorities due to a disruptive passenger onboard flight VS141 traveling from London Heathrow to Los Angeles on Tuesday, 26 July.” “It is always our number one goal to ensure that our clients and staff are safe and sound, and we will not put up with any behavior that puts any of these at risk. When our clients fly with us, we always want them to have the greatest possible experience. Our cabin staff receives extensive training to deal with people who may negatively influence that experience for others.”

After a delay of around four hours, the flight was permitted to proceed to its destination in Los Angeles, according to a spokeswoman for Virgin Atlantic who talked to Fox News Digital. The airline offered their customers an apology for the delay and inconvenience.

The flight from Virgin Atlantic landed at LAX at around 7:30 p.m.

In general, the flight time from London to Los Angeles is anywhere between 10 and 11 hours.
