New analysis revealed that 11 of the 15 deadliest cities in the United States are primarily run by the Democrats.

In the analysis published by the The National Desk (TND), it was revealed that among the 15 cities which currently hold the highest murder rates are cities that are largely run by Democrats, including New Orleans, Detroit, St. Louis, Cleveland, Newark, Baltimore, Philadelphia, Milwaukee, Chicago, Cincinnati and Pittsburgh.

The analysis also revealed that among the list are three cities with Democratic Mayors and Democratic district attorneys who are also in charge of prosecution in 12 of the 15 cities.

“The top four deadliest cities — St. Louis, Baltimore, New Orleans and Detroit — have Democratic mayors, sheriffs, prosecutors and city council leaders. The fifth, Cleveland, has Democrats across the board with the exception of an unaffiliated sheriff who was appointed to his position,” the National Desk reported.

“Progressive prosecutors, which hold office in nearly all of the 15 cities, have come under fire lately for weakening their prosecutorial standards.” it added.

In the report published by the Marshall Project, Cook County, Ill. State’s Attorney Kim Foxx was exposed for dismissing thousands of felonies that would have been pursued in the past.

In addition, Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot also recently warned the city that it could descend “into chaos” after Foxx refused to prosecute several gang members who were involved in a deadly shootout, the Chicago Sun-Times reported.

According to the outlet, Foxx allegedly told the police officers that she would not prosecute the case because of insufficient evidence. She also argued that the shootout occurred between “mutual combatants.”

The Sun Times also reported that St. Louis’s top prosecutor, Kimberly Gardner won her election after she vowed to the voters that she would revolutionize how the city prosecutes criminals.

“Now she has half of the attorneys on staff with one-third of the collective tenure of her predecessor,” the outlet added in its report.

Meanwhile; State’s Attorney Marilyn Mosby of Baltimore was also slammed for refusing to prosecute cases involving attempted drug distribution, drug possession, prostitution, and a handful of other crimes.

In response, Baltimore County Councilman David Marks lamented, arguing that “I don’t agree with sending a message of permissiveness … You can be tough on crime, but also supportive of those services that minimize the likelihood of crime. These aren’t mutually exclusive goals.”
