Mims claimed she discarded the napkin without further consideration.

I opened the door with the tips of my fingers. I asked my husband, “Did you put a napkin in the door?” And he said no. stated Mims.

Mims returned inside the restaurant to wash her hands, and on her way back to the car, she noticed her fingers tingling. and the sensation was worsening.

She claims that after five minutes, her entire arm started to tingle and felt numb. “I couldn’t breathe. I started getting hot flashes, my chest was hurting, my heart was beating really fast.” she added.

Doctors stated her vitals were all over the place after they tested her urine, blood, and CAT scan when she arrived at the hospital.

Mims explained that the doctor told her that there wasn’t enough of the substance in her system to identify what it is but that she had been diagnosed with acute poisoning from an unknown substance.

According to the doctor, it sounded like an effort to abduct Mims had been made, but it was unsuccessful.

After the woman reported the incident to the authorities, the Houston Police Agency stated that this was the first occurrence of its kind that they had encountered in its history.

According to Mark Winter, the managing director of the Southeast Houston Poison Center, hundreds of toxins share Mims’ symptoms.

According to Winter, “The probability is that you would have to have a lot more than just a casual exposure.” He clarified that in his 40 years, he realized that when it comes to the human body, anything is possible.
