There is a new threat assessment report out there that talks about possible threats to the United States from more than one country. The study says that the United States “faces a global order that is becoming more fragile, strained by great power competition, transnational challenges, and regional conflicts.”

It was mostly about the dangers that China and Russia pose, as well as the problems that the war between Israel and Gaza could cause. The report says that “an ambitious but worried China, a confrontational Russia, some regional powers, like Iran, and more capable non-state actors are challenging long-standing rules of the international system as well as US primacy within it.”

Some people don’t like that China has helped Russia in its war with Ukraine, even though trade between China and Russia has been growing over the last year. Because of this, politicians like Avril Haines, Director of National Intelligence, have been trying to get lawmakers to give Ukraine more money.

Haines said it was “hard to imagine” how Ukraine could protect its land from Russia without more help from the US. She also said that China could use technology to make the US less stable, which would be a direct attack on the US and would also stop Washington from doing more to help Ukraine.

As the tension between countries grows, people are becoming more worried about possible threats and wars. The study talked about Netanyahu, the threats that could come his way, and how his people don’t trust him to lead them. It also talked about a possible gathering to call for his resignation.

Christopher Wray, the director of the FBI, also talked about threats that could come in from the border because it is so open. Wray said, “The threat is much greater now.”
